Given that the evening guests normally arrive at 7:30pm we recommend serving the evening buffet from 10pm onwards.
Contrary to what you may read in some wedding publications (!), and to avoid disappointment for you and your guests, we will only cater for the numbers present and not a lesser figure. i.e. the total number of day and evening guests.
Please note that there is a minimum mandatory spend for an evening buffet of £6.00 per person.
Wedding Buffet Menu
A selection of sandwiches with the following fillings:
Egg and cress
Ham and mustard mayonnaise
Roast beef and horseradish
Smoked chicken and crisp Caesar salad
Tuna mayonnaise and spring onion
Scottish cheddar cheese with Branston pickle
All served with thick cut crisps and salad leaves
Tea and filter coffee £6.00 per person
In addition to the above we can also offer the following for £1.50 per person
Selection of quiches
Sausage rolls
Home-made foccacia pizzas
Marinated chicken drumsticks
Slices of chocolate brownie
Mini fudge doughnuts
In addition to the wedding buffet menu you may wish to offer some of the following, which are served to the entire party in snack portions @ £3.75 per item
Stovies and vegetarian stovies with oatcakes
Platter of cheeses with biscuits, celery grapes and apples
Haggis, neeps and tatties with whiskey cream sauce
Bacon Bap – 1 per person
Please note that should you wish to order one of the above items instead of the selection of sandwiches, the price will be £6.75 per person to include tea/coffee.
